The Dirt in Maine’s Clean Energy Schemes

Light Bulb Money-resized-600

Maine is among the cleanest states in the nation when it comes to electricity generation. However, we are also among the most expensive states when it comes to electricity rates. Please join The Maine Heritage Policy Center and the Honorable Chris O’Neil for a discussion about the web of government policies, mandates, subsidies and other initiatives that we fund every time we flip a switch.

For the past nine years, Chris O’Neil has been an independent Government Relations Consultant, serving clients from a broad array of entities and interests. Previously, he spent eight years as a State Representative in the Maine Legislature. He is the Public Affairs Director for Friends of Maine’s Mountains, a nonprofit that advocates against mountain wind power and for sustainable energy policy.
