Film Screening: Sweden: Lessons for America?

September 19 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

It’s been suggested that Americans would be better off if the United States was more like Sweden.

Do the Swedes know something that we don’t?

Delving into the economic and social systems of Sweden, international scholar and host of Dead Wrong, Johann Norberg takes viewers on a journey through his home country to discover the lessons to be learned, some of which may not be what you’d expect.

Join The Maine Heritage Policy Center and the UMaine Young Americans for Liberty for a special screening and discussion of Sweden: Lessons for America? as part of Constitution Week. Young Americans for Liberty will be celebrating Constitution Week earlier in the day with a Free Speech Ball on the campus mall from 10am to 3pm.

UMaine YAL will hold their regular meeting in DPC 217 at 6pm before the film.
