Donor Relations and Events Manager

Maine Policy Institute (MPI) is seeking an energetic, organized, detail-oriented, full-time development professional to assist our director of operations.  This position will be responsible for accurate donor and database management, including timely donor follow-up and programmatic updates, event planning that engages and educates diverse audiences, coordinating an effective direct mail plan, donor research, and preparing fundraising reports.

Qualified candidates for this position will have strong writing and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as experience managing a donor database.  This individual must be detailed-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and work occasional weekend and evening hours for scheduled events.
