Director of policy, Nick Murray, joined the WGAN Morning News on Friday morning to discuss LD 34, a proposal by Sen. Matt Pouliot to implement voter ID in Maine.
“We require for ID for so many other things in society, whether you get [government] benefits, buy alcohol, or rent a car. [Voter ID] is a pretty common sense reform, it’s widely popular, and it would provide more faith and trust in elections at a time when folks are really craving it,” Murray said.
