PORTLAND – The Maine Heritage Policy Center (MHPC) has proudly selected Adam Crepeau and Jacob Posik to serve as its next policy analyst and director of communications.
Crepeau, a native of Portsmouth, NH who now resides in York, has been hired as MHPC’s new policy analyst. In this role, Crepeau will oversee research in the areas of health care, education, regulatory, and tax and fiscal policy.
“Adam’s experience within Maine government and his familiarity with policymaking makes him a perfect fit for our team,” said MHPC CEO Matthew Gagnon. “He has great passion for the issues facing hardworking Mainers and is committed to expanding freedom and prosperity in Maine.”
Before joining MHPC, Crepeau served as a special assistant to former Maine Gov. Paul LePage and as a legislative aide in the 128th Maine Legislature. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a dual major in justice studies and political science.
In addition, former policy analyst Jacob Posik now serves as the director of communications at MHPC. Posik, of Turner, was first hired in June 2017 as a policy analyst before transitioning to his new role as director of communications. He is a graduate of the University of Maine with a major in political science and a minor in Maine studies. Posik will continue his work as editor of The Maine Wire.
“As policy analyst, Jake proved to be an invaluable member of our team,” Gagnon said. “His work on child care and occupational licensing will guide our regulatory policy efforts for years to come. In his new role, we are confident Jake will excel in communicating our mission to the media, lawmakers and our supporters.”
