Matt, Jake and Harris take a look at the first few days in office – at least in his second term – of President Donald Trump. The flurry of executive orders is already pushing the envelope on a whole host of issues, including birthright citizenship, immigration, and the declassification of assassination files. We tackle what is happening and what it all means.

We also tackle the cabinet hearings and approvals, including the decision by Sen. Susan Collins to oppose Pete Heseth’s nomination to run the Pentagon. Will this have implications for her run for re-election in 2026, and will we see this vote repeated for the RFJ Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard nominations? We tell you.

Finally, we circle back to the Maine budget and highlight the blatant dishonesty of the Mills administration and her alies related to what’s inside her budget proposal. We also circle back on last week’s interview with Jared Golden.

That’s a lot to get through, but it’s worth it. Listen to the full episode below.
