Watch: Opposing Punitive Fines for Texting While Driving

Communications director, Jacob Posik, was interviewed by News Center Maine this week regarding Maine Policy’s opposition to LD 145, a bill that would increase the fines for distracted driving in Maine. The bill would increase the fine for a first offense from $50 to $500, from $250 to $1,000 for a second offense, and license revocation for third-time offenders. Watch the segment below.
