Graham Platner’s chaotic campaign for the U.S. Senate once again leads off the podcast this week. This time, it is a long list of topics, from being awarded the cover of Time Magazine, to more old and deleted (and disgusting) posts from Reddit being revealed and complicating his pitch to voters.

We also talk about the state of play in the gubernatorial race in both parties, as we race toward primary election day in a little more than two weeks. A new Pan Atlantic poll was released this week which gave us a list of candidates that they say are leading and losing, but is anything about that poll trustworthy? What is really going on in these races? We discuss.

We also talk about the Protect Girls Sports referendum being derailed by a new draft decision by Secretary of State Shenna Bellows’ office. What happened, and why? If it is indeed off the ballot, who does that help and hurt? We consider.

Finally we take a look at some national stories, including the loss by Thomas Massie of Kentucky in a House primary this week. Massie had become a thorn in the side of President Trump, and paid the ultimate electoral price as a result.

All of this and more in this week’s Pine Tree Pulse.
