Biography
Jacob Posik is the Director of Legislative Affairs at Maine Policy Institute. In this role, Jake is primarily responsible for tracking legislation and delivering Maine Policy’s testimony under the dome in Augusta. He is also a public face for the organization, engaging with the news media and managing Maine Policy’s communications activities.
Jake first joined Maine Policy in 2016 as the editor of the Maine Wire, MPI’s online news and opinion website. In 2017, he served as policy analyst before becoming the director of communications. He holds a degree in political science from the University of Maine with a minor in Maine studies.
