This week, Matt, Jake and Harris tackle a number of Maine stories, including Secretary of State Shenna Bellow picking a public fight with the Trump administration over voter registration data. She accused the Department of Justice of “trying to distract from the Epstein files” and told people who were concerned with the integrity of our voting system to “jump in the Gulf of Maine.”
We also talk about the apprehension of the Old Orchard Beach police officer by ICE, and ask how in the world he could have been hired in the first place.
Additionally, this November Maine voters will be asked their opinion about a Voter ID Law and a Red Flag Law, and we now know the order of they will appear on our ballot. We discuss.
Finally, we also go national a bit to talk Trump’s new trade deal with the European Union, a new round of tariff hikes, and Kamala Harris making a big decision on her future.
This and more on this week’s Pine Tree Pulse Podcast.
