Biography
Christina Foster is the Donor Relations and Event Manager at Maine Policy Institute. She brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, and building meaningful community connections. Throughout her career, she has developed and strengthened relationships that support mission-driven organizations that create lasting impact.
Her background includes 10 years dedicated to nonprofit fundraising and awareness efforts focused on diabetes education and advocacy. She has also spent more than two decades in volunteer leadership, serving on local boards and leading fundraising efforts for schools, community programs, and events. Christina is also the founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families in need, reflecting her passion for giving back and serving her community.
Prior to joining Maine Policy Institute, Christina spent five years working in vendor relations and cultivation, further strengthening her experience in relationship management and partnership development. She was drawn to Maine Policy Institute because of the substantial difference being made through policy work and the organization’s influence in creating positive change across Maine. She is excited to help grow support for MPI’s mission and impact.
