Sign the Petition: Pass Voter ID in Maine

Maine is one of just 15 states that does not require voters to present some sort of identification in order to cast a ballot on Election Day.

A bill in the Maine Legislature this year – LD 34 – would implement voter ID in Maine. Voter ID laws require voters to provide photographic identification at the polls in order to vote. It is a commonsense reform would protect against fraud and restore faith in our election system, and it’s supported by 4-in-5 American citizens.

Make your voice heard! Fill out the form below and click ‘Submit’ to tell Maine lawmakers to pass voter ID this session.

(By clicking ‘Submit’, you affirm your support for voter ID in Maine and agree to have your name included at the bottom of Maine Policy Institute’s testimony in support of LD 34. Maine Policy’s testimony will be submitted on the day of LD 34’s public hearing, Monday, February 6, 2023.)
